Because Green wood is prone to significant twisting, bowing, and large "checking" (cracks) as it seasons, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds or structural guarantees are provided on Green products.

The Viga is a definitive element of New Mexico’s architectural legacy. Historically, these timbers were harvested directly from local forests and hand-peeled, but working with raw green timber often introduces structural shifting, warping, and cracking over time.

To give you the best of both worlds, we specialize in a custom rounding process. We take premium, square-sawn kiln-dried timbers and precision-craft them into round vigas. This unique capability allows us to recreate the exact organic, rustic look of a traditional green pine timber while utilizing highly stable, reliable material.

Structural Compliance Notice: In accordance with IRC Section R502.1, all load-bearing wood must bear an official grade mark. Because locally harvested, raw green Vigas are non-gradable, we recommend our custom-rounded kiln-dried collections for projects requiring verified structural integrity.
